A twist on Maqrout Al Louz

For my nephew's upcoming baby shower, I decided to make maqrout al louz, but instead of the shaping them into diamonds like last time , I used a heart cookie cutter. For the icing, I decided to try out a design that I saw on a cookie when I visited Algeria over the summer.

Not too shabby for my first try huh?
