Sweet Pillar & Co. Review and Giveaway!

With only a couple more days left of Ramadan, it's time to start cracking down on those Eid sweets! Have y'all started yet? I haven't. I'll probably start tomorrow. My almonds are all peeled, as you probably saw on Facebook, so the hard part's out of the way. All that's left is the mixing, the shaping, the baking, and/or the dipping. And that part's easy considering I've got an extra set of hands with lots of experience--Mama truly!

Unfortunately, some of us may not have a mama so close by to help us, or a grandmama, or an aunt, or anyone for that matter. And for the baking challenged, this can be super stressful. But I've got some good news. Sweet Pillar & Co.'s got your back!

Sweet Pillar & Co. is a California based company that sells traditional Middle-Eastern cookies made from all-natural, locally sourced ingredients. The recipes they use are authentic family generations old, which by default means, they are the best of the best.

I, for one, can personally vouch for this, as they kindly sent me a box of their date ma'mool cookies to sample and I loved them! For those of you who don't know, ma'mool is a shortbread type cookie that is filled with dates. This type of cookie is very popular in Middle Eastern countries, but in Algeria, we also make a similar cookie called kaak el nakache.

Anyways, I've had my fair share of ma'mool in my lifetime and I can tell you right now that these are by far the best I've ever tasted! The cookie to date ratio is perfect and they literally melt in your mouth. Because they're handmade in small batches, they were fresh and delicious AND they came in the cutest resealable packages so that they can STAY fresh too!

And guess what? Sweet Pillar & Co. wants to give one of YOU two boxes of their limited edition Eid Mubarak Date Mamool cookies! You can keep one and give one away....or you can keep both! I won't tell ;)

Use the Rafflecopter form below to enter to win! U.S. residents only.
