NBA Finals + DiGiorno

Happy Wednesday y'all! I hope everyone had a great weekend and a wonderful Father's Day! Today, we're talking basketball and my favorite food group....pizza!


Now, let me start off by saying, I'm not a frozen pizza kind of girl. Never really got into it as my mother taught me from a young age how to make a mean pizza dough and an even better tomato sauce. However, last week's Game 6 of the NBA finals was a special occasion and it called for sitting back, relaxing, and popping some DiGiorno pizza in the oven.

Why DiGiorno? Well, everyone knows, if it's not delivery, it's DiGiorno. Am I right, or am I right? Ha!

Okay, on a more serious note, DiGiorno actually recently released a brand new line they're calling Pizzeria!™ Thin. You may already know, DiGiorno is famous for their Rising Crust pizza. Well, they're back at it again, with a new and improved crust that's preservative free AND proofed for 90 minutes before being baked to crispy perfection!




I can officially vouch for this is, as I could literally hear the crisp as I bit it into my slice, and the interior was clearly super flaky. I tried the Margherita and Spinach & Mushroom varieties and between those two, I couldn't pick a clear favorite because they were both so flavorful and delicious.


All varieties in this new line are topped with a specially crafted sauce made from vine-ripened tomatoes, basil, oregano, and thyme. My brothers and I mutually agreed, this was not your average frozen pizza. It exceeded our expectations...as did the Golden State Warriors who won the NBA title after 40 years!
