Ziti and Beef

I took out the ground beef from the freezer and set it out to defrost. I stared at it for a good two hours before I finally decided on what to make. This unbelievably delicious dish is incredibly easy to make. It's family-friendly and great for any day of the week.
Ziti and Beef
Print Friendly and PDF
1 sixteen-ounce package of your choice of pasta
½ pound ground beef
1 small onion
4 cloves of garlic
3 tablespoons oil
¼ teaspoon oregano, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon of salt
1 six-ounce can of tomato paste

Put the beef in a large saucepan. Add the oil. Sauté the beef with the onion, garlic, and spices for 10 minutes.
Then add tomato paste; cover the beef with water.
Let it cook for 30 minutes.
· For the macaroni- boil water (add 3 tablespoons oil and 3 teaspoons salt). Then add the pasta. Ziti cooks in about 30 minutes. Because of different shapes and thickness of pasta, different kinds will take less or more time to cook.

  1. Assallammu alaikum,
I just made this today for dinner and it was delicious, thanks for the recipe. I add a little bit of fresh basil and 1 cube of chicken maggi. It was great!
