Alexia Yukon Gold Julienne Fries

French fries.

They're everyone's favorite comfort food. But if they're not made correctly, they're just not enjoyable. Growing up, the only French fries I ever ate were the ones my mom made. I didn't have anything to compare them to so I thought they were fantastic.

Then I got older and was introduced to the world of fast food. And since the only thing I could ever really eat at any fast food place was their french fries (due to religious reasons), I could literally sit here and tell you all the pros and cons of every company's fries. I had my fair share of all of them. McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, etc. They were all my favorite at one point or another.

But I've got a new favorite, ladies and gentlemen. And it's Alexia Foods' Yukon Gold Julienne Fries.

I received a coupon to try one Alexia Foods frozen product of my choice. And let me tell you, it was a difficult decision. Everything looked so good! The garlic bread, the waffle fries, the sweet potato fries, the mozzarella sticks, the oven-roasted potatoes, etc, etc.

And it might seem odd that I ended up choosing something as simple as julienne fries, but I had my reasoning. See, I told myself that if the Alexia company could make frozen french fries taste good, then they were indeed something special.

And I've got news for you. They did. And they are. Nobody in my family could even believe that these fries came from a frozen bag. That's how good they are. Serious top-notch restaurant quality. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned with just the right amount of salt. That's sea-salt, by the way, which has less sodium.

But you know what the absolute best part about these fries is? It's the fact that they're organic AND trans-fat free. And everyone knows that the best kind of fries are the ones that don't make you feel guilty after eating them...am I  right or am i right? :)

I'll definitely be checking out my local supermarket for more Alexia Food products and you should too. You don't have to sacrifice flavor to be healthy, and Alexia has clearly proved that!

Did you compare this brand to Wal-Mart and other generic brands? A double blindfold taste-off is requested!
